Presentation

( This are the girls that present on the same day as me) 

How I have learn from this presentation. Is that don't do everything at the last minuet, I regret doing my presentation slide and preparation of my presentation 1 week before my presentation date. Another thing I learn from assignment is, I get to know L'Oreal better and I get to know the structure of an organization better. Although every company have different management style but I'm sure their almost slimier. L'Oreal was the first company annual report that I have read. As a business student, I will use my leisure time to read more companies annual report to increase my knowledge in the business world.

Today is the last day for Dr. tan's class, I want to thank Dr. Tan for his patience and guidance throughout this 4 months of teaching us.      

week 9...

After a week of holiday, I 'm back to college.

I feel quit disappointment with myself because i plan to finish reading the L'Oreal annual report during the holiday but i didn't not. I just don't have the 'mood'  the interest to read. So, i make a plan. I will read 2 page in the morning and 2 page before i go to sleep. I know it's not much but at least i read a bit everyday.

Thursday afternoon, my class went for the career talk about L'Oreal.  I found some interesting point that i can put into my assignment.

No. 6

Another week of 3D liveaps...

But this week it started by a pretty lady --- Miss Poon E-Lin  saying about What to wear for an interview.

By dressing the correct attire for the correct occasion, u will show your POWER. 

'Dont judge a book by its cover' but the first impression you give people is very important. It show your character.

Acceptance. You wont want to feel acceptable by the surrounding.

For example--going for an interview is formal wear

                   -- going to mamak is casual wear
                   -- going for a weeding dinner is smart n casual

By dressing the correct attire, it means u respect the occasion.

Clothes  that are not suitable  for an interview.

What I like about this week 3D liveaps is the speech by Mr Tom Leng.  

He mention about pronunciation , when we present we need to 

speak clearly ( speak with a clear voice) 

stress key words ( like when u want to sell a product , stress the name of the product a few times )

use the right words ( dont use "rojak"  english mix chinese n malay) 

Next, it move to team building activity.

we played the whisperer : the game goes like this,(with loud rock music on) the first person will get a message and need to pass to the next person and pass to the next person , until the end and see if the message was the same as what the first person was gave. The message is : Can ken get a can of coke and a can of candy. The winner group gets Rm100!!!

Week 3

 

This is what we did in the 3D live-apps on Wednesday. Team Grouping and attitude. A person attitude can affect the person's decision marking or life. What I like about this section is the video they showed about the 'iron man'. ( not the one showing in cinema) This one below.

 

I was touch by the video, although i watch this video before. But i was still touched by the attitude that the man wanted to finish the race. Although he didn't win the race , but he is 100 times better than those people that gave up half way. Nothing is impossible, if u have the will , u will have the way. Never give up!  

Another thing that i was touch was his father that came to 'help' him , family is the one who's always there for us. 

2nd Week~

Tuesday,

Before Dr.Tan started his lecture, he told his that he had planned a 2 months worship for us.It's on every Wednesday 12pm to 3pm. After listening to Dr.Tan introduce  about the worship, it sounds fun.

Wednesday ,

Wednesday class is from 8am to 6pm. What a long day. 

After 12pm class, I had a quick lunch and went to the worship. When I went in the worship have already started. What I like about the worship is the acting part. I feel that it's funny and the actors have good interaction with the students. The part I less interested is the theory part.

What is a manager?

A manager is an art, a person that have a version to achieve for the whole company.

First week of class

      Started my degree life this week.My meet and make new friends. As it was only the first week, so lectures just doing introduction in class.


     The lecture that catch my attention was my business profession lecture (Dr. Tan). He was a high expectation from his student, though this first week of meeting him. I feel like he is a friendly person. I am looking forward to work with him.
